JAKARTA, 9 Aug. /TASS/. The Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov at the meeting with the Secretary-General of ASEAN Le Luong Menem on Wednesday presented him with a commemorative gift.
After a conversation at the ASEAN Secretariat in the Indonesian capital, Lavrov thanked the Secretary General for the warm reception and presented him with a statuette in the form of a flower bouquet. Compostion of rice sheaves, a symbol of ASEAN national flowers of 10 countries members of the Association and chamomile, symbolizing Russia. Bouquet made of blackened silver with gold, and vase-shaped emblem of ASEAN. Malachite stand on which is a vase with a bouquet symbolizes the Ural mountains, where was produced a souvenir.
The statue will be kept in a Museum in the headquarters of the organization.
