The speaker of the state Duma said on Thursday, communicating with the participants of the youth forum “Territory meanings on the Klyazma”. The subject of the change of young politicians formulated as KPI “happiness”.
“And if he [the Deputy] gets from this happiness and satisfaction, so he correctly chose this path,” — said Volodin.

Complaints about “dead” season
Volodin believes that the talk of politicians about the complexity of the electoral campaign in the “dead” summer season before the September single day of voting only justify their inefficient operation.
One of the participants noted that the holding of municipal, regional and Duma elections in the single voting day in September complicates candidates to conduct election campaign, as it is in the summer — the season of summer cottages and vacations. Volodin in response reminded that in many countries, elections are held in autumn.

Volodin told how he was elected to the city Council of Saratov in 1990, immediately after defending his doctoral thesis. For participation in elections it was necessary to hold a meeting of voters in the presence of a member of the city election Commission and collect 200 signatures. According to the speaker of the state Duma, he was twice denied registration only on the last day after the third collect signatures it was registered. “This district was one of the representatives of the Communist party, there were already some plans to win, but registered”, — he said.
