The U.S. will continue cooperation with Russia on the Syrian issue
The United States will continue to work with Russia to defeat “Islamic state” (IG; banned in Russia) and a political settlement in Syria, said “RIA Novosti” the representative of US state Department.
“The United States supports any attempt that may really lead to de-escalation of violence in Syria and to ensure unhindered humanitarian access,” — said the Agency interlocutor.
Earlier, the chief goal of the new us sanctions called punishment by the Russian authorities for support of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s actions in Ukraine.
Recall that Donald trump has signed an anti-Russian law previously approved by the House of representatives and the U.S. Senate.
