The Chairman of the Central election Commission of Russia, Ella Pamfilova called false statements of the former candidate in governors of Sverdlovsk region from the “Yabloko” party, the mayor of Yekaterinburg Yevgeny Roizman on the impossibility to overcome the municipal filter. Her words Wednesday, 2 August, reports TASS.
“Here’s a bomb, a sensation: the man who goes to the polls, did the main thing — do not open [selective] account [savings Bank]”, — Pamfilova said at the meeting of the CEC.
In addition, according to the Agency, unclaimed, in the Sverdlovsk region were 73 signatures of municipal deputies — to them nobody addressed. Thus, Roizman previously made statements about the obstruction of the municipal filter, incorrect, quoting “Vedomosti” Deputy Chairman of the CEC of Nikolay bulaeva.
18 Jul Roizman stated that you will not be able to collect enough signatures to pass the municipal filter, calling this procedure unconstitutional. On the same day, the Central election Commission is declared illegal his nomination from the party “Yabloko”.
Prior to that, Roizman said that his nomination was supported by 39 local members. Just to pass the municipal filter he had 126 signatures.
Elections in the Sverdlovsk region will be held September 10. Municipal filter on gubernatorial elections was introduced in 2012. Under current law, anyone wishing to run for the post of head of the region must collect signatures from five percent to 10 percent of municipal deputies.
