German TV didn’t like the results of a survey showing that more than 80% of Germans trust Russian President Vladimir Putin, said in an interview with RIA Novosti Director of the third European Department of the MFA of Russia Sergey Nechaev.
“When Vladimir Putin addressed the Federal Assembly, some German TV channels were broadcast live and simultaneously conducted a phone poll: “do You trust Putin.” Results – 81% “Yes”. But it was quickly removed from television channels,” said a senior diplomat.
According to him, “these statistics into the mainstream of Germany does not fit”.
“Unfortunately, part of the political establishment in Germany is tied to clean water Russophobia, but not everyone in the General population exposed to anti — Russian sentiments,” said Nechayev.
