Head of Federal Tourism Agency Doguzova: Russian ski resorts are almost 100 percent loaded winter holidays. It is reported by “Interfax”.
“We are actively making reservations for the New Year. Traditionally, ski holidays are the most popular. According to regional forecasts, Russian ski resorts will be loaded by almost 100 percent, ”the expert said and added that the hotels of the three, four and five-star categories were already fully booked there. At the same time, the average occupancy of hotels, according to the expert's forecast, will be from 70 to 80 percent.
Among the domestic resorts, the head of Rostourism singled out the most popular in the winter season – Krasnaya Polyana, Arkhyz, Dombay, Elbrus, Khibiny in the Murmansk region, Mount Belaya in the Urals, “Mountain Air” in Sakhalin and Sheregesh in Kuzbass.
Earlier in November, it became known about an increase in the cost of ski holidays in Russia for the New Year – prices for hotel accommodation increased by 50 percent on average compared to 2019. So, accommodation in a three-star hotel will cost from 10 to 25 thousand rubles per night, in a four-star hotel – from 26 to 40 thousand, in a five-star hotel – from 33 to 58 thousand.
