The Ministry of Justice has included “Honest Vybory” and “Irkutsk Union of Bibliophiles” in the list of foreign media agents 
“Fair Elections” and the Foundation for the Development of Book Culture “Irkutsk Union of Bibliophiles” ( included by the Ministry of Justice in the register of media performing the functions of a foreign agent ). This was reported in the Ministry of Justice of Russia.
The department noted that it is “about the conscientious observance of the requirements of the law established for persons included in the register, and aimed at increasing the transparency of their activities.” Now all messages and materials created by them and distributed on the territory of the Russian Federation are subject to mandatory labeling.
Earlier, the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, answering a question from journalists about the possibility of repealing the law on foreign agents, noted that such initiatives radical, but the law enforcement practice can be debated.
