The United States supported Putin's statement on the need for dialogue between countries

The White House agreed with a number of Putin's statements at a meeting of the Russian Foreign Ministry collegium

In particular, Washington agrees with the words of the Russian leader that the two countries need to maintain a dialogue in order to resolve the many existing differences. Psaki also stressed that the White House welcomes the Russian leader's statement on the peaceful settlement of the conflict in Donbass.

On November 18, Vladimir Putin took part in an expanded meeting of the collegium of the Russian Foreign Ministry. In his speech, he called the situation in Ukraine a dead end and remembered about lethal weapons, and also accused Western partners of unreliability and reproached for an easy rejection of any previous agreements. However, he stressed that working to achieve guarantees is necessary.
