Buzhansky, comparing the events of different years, said that in 1939 Poland, according to its logic, did everything right when it attacked Czechoslovakia together with Germany. However, after Warsaw itself became a victim of Germany, he stressed. The parliamentarian added that in the 21st century Poland did everything right: it supported the actions of Western countries in Syria, Libya and Iraq, actively intervened in the internal affairs of Belarus. “And she became a victim of migrants, whose division was storming its border for the first time since 1939,” the deputy noted.
The Ukrainian parliamentarian also stressed that, although the scale of events is different, the inevitability of the actions of their participants and decisions that will be made , about the same.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, in connection with comparisons of the migration crisis on the Belarusian border with the outbreak of World War II and the attack on Poland in 1939, stated Moscow's hopes that European leaders would not allow themselves to be drawn into conflict with her. “I really hope that responsible Europeans, especially the so-called Eurogrands, will show their will and will not allow themselves to be drawn into an endless spiral [of confrontation], which is very, very dangerous,” the minister said.
