The Pentagon chief ordered to send Afghanistan more troops

The Minister of defence of the USA James Mattis signed the order to send to Afghanistan additional armies. About it reports Reuters.

The Pentagon chief noted that these actions are carried out in the framework of the action strategy in South Asia, approved by the President of the United States Donald trump.

Radical movement “the Taliban” (banned in Russia) on August 22 issued a statement in which he pledged to continue Jihad against the Americans if they did not leave Afghanistan. “Instead of continuing the war in Afghanistan, the Americans had to consider the withdrawal of its troops”, — said the representative of the Taliban.

The day before trump announced the new strategy for Afghanistan.

He assured that his approach will be to prevent the transformation of that country into a safe haven for Islamist militants seeking to attack the United States.

American media earlier reported that trump has taken the decision to increase military presence in Afghanistan for four thousand people. Currently in the country there are 11 thousand American military.
