Moscow. August 29. INTERFAX.RU — a Criminal case against chief of penal colony № 26 of the main Directorate of the FSIN of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk territory, who is accused of a large bribe, reported the main investigation Department of the TFR in the region on Tuesday.

“August 24, the wife of the convicted gave the intermediary of a bribe in the amount of 5 million rubles, after which he was detained by employees UFSB, and on his communications with the head of the colony passed under control of operative employees. As said the Agency “Interfax” in the main Department of the Federal penitentiary service of Russia in the region, operation on detention of the head of the colony took place with the active participation of the staff of management of security service of the regional penitentiary.
A criminal case against the head of the prison opened under part 6 St. 290 criminal code (bribery in especially large size).
The suspect is currently under arrest.
