The official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova told reporters that Moscow did not intend to retaliate against US citizens or taking it out on the Americans. At the same time sounded the word “never”.
The Russian diplomat made clear that the mirror response to Washington’s decision to significantly limit the issuance of nonimmigrant visas to Russians will not. “To create them (the citizens of the USA approx. “RG”) deliberate complexity on the basis of some political ambitions — is not our method. Therefore, the Russian foreign institutions will continue to operate as usual, performing all of their functions, — said Zakharov. — Will never disrupt the evil on American citizens, deliberately create intolerable conditions for obtaining Russian visas — thus revenge is not clear to whom and is not clear why. It is absolutely not our method”.
Informed “RG” reported that the US decision to limit the issuance of visas has led Zakharov in bewilderment.
As for the American decision to limit the issuance of nonimmigrant visas to Russians, the official representative of the Russian foreign Ministry said: “the Main reason for this solution are not technical difficulties encountered very well equipped with a American consular service and in the material plan, and resource plan. She also recalled that the Russian foreign Ministry earlier cited examples of how embassies and consulates of other countries in the West, particularly Europe, will receive significantly more visas, while having a much smaller number of employees for their registration. “So, apparently, one of the tasks of our American colleagues was to cause discontent of the Russian citizens by Moscow, Russia’s foreign policy” , — concluded Zakharov.
We will remind that since August 23, the U.S. Embassy in Russia completely suspended the issuance of nonimmigrant visas to citizens of Russia. From September 1, American diplomats promised that job to resume. But only in Moscow.
