During a large fire in the historical center of Rostov-na-Donu two yunarmeytsev: David Ananyan and Alexander Trutnev independently flooded the fire with water from buckets before the arrival of firefighters. “On arrival at the place of fire brigades, the boys told them about the situation and continued to help in extinguishing the fire by deploying fire hoses, and evacuate the victims,” — noted in the text. In particular, yunarmeytsy helped to go out to the two residents of one of the burning houses.
In the fire of August 21 in Rostov-na-Donu burned 25 private homes and 100 buildings were affected. The city had imposed a state of emergency. Injured 36 people, eight of them hospitalized.
According to the Governor of the region Vasily Golubev, a massive fire started with a fire in a nonresidential private home. The fire spread because of strong wind, the speed of at least 15 meters per second.
