Pride and admiration are the main feelings experienced by the majority of Russians at the sight of the state symbolics, and over the last decade, the number of those has grown substantially. As follows from the results of the poll, the main symbols of the country to the Russians are the state flag, emblem and anthem — in 2017 have called them 46% of respondents. Second place among the symbols of the country took the “people, unity, unity”, the third place was taken by the bear.
71% of respondents said that they feel pride and admiration at the sight of the Russian flag, 72% — Russian coat of arms, 75% when listening to the national anthem of Russia, reports TASS.
Sociologists point out that over the last decade, the percentage of admiration for state symbols is steadily growing. In 2006, the percentage admires the flag was 49% and in 2015 — 67%.
We will remind, in 2010 Dmitry Medvedev has signed a law that strengthens administrative liability for illegal use of state symbols and illegal wearing of uniforms and state awards.
