MOSCOW, August 17. /TASS/. Moscow considers the decision not to include Russia in the project of creation of the Museum “Sobibor” flagrant historical amnesia, said Thursday at a briefing the official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
“We believe the decision of the international steering Committee responsible for the building of a new Museum on the site of the former Nazi death camp of Sobibor, not be allowed to participate in the project Russia of a flagrant historical amnesia, – said Zakharov. It is obvious that the representation during the memorial ceremonies in no way replaces the full participation in the Committee and its work, which is empowered to shape the vision for the future of the memorial, to organize work at the site, control the funding.”
