In Perm opened a criminal case about negligence after the doctors during the surgery forgot the cotton wool in the head. This was reported in the Thursday, August 17, on the website of the Investigative Committee.
According to investigators, in July 2016, the regional children’s clinical hospital, Perm boy from the village of Yurla in connection with a serious illness was carried out craniotomy. After the operation the child’s condition worsened, he was transferred to the national scientific-practical centre of pediatric Hematology and immunology named after Dmitry Rogachev in Moscow.
In April, the Moscow doctors held the baby a surgery during which they pulled out of the boy head cotton swab-turundae, which, presumably, was forgotten by the Perm doctors.
It is noted that currently the boy’s treatment continues.
In may 2016 in the Moscow region opened a criminal case on the fact of a medical error in Shakhovskoy Central hospital, which in the stomach the patient has forgotten a napkin.
