Media: VGTRK journalist expelled from Ukraine
MOSCOW, August 15. /TASS/. RTR correspondent Tamara Nersessian expelled from Ukraine. On Tuesday announced the TV channel “Russia 24”.
In July 2017 the security Service of Ukraine “within the framework of counter-intervention “the aggressor” in the domestic media space and containment of threats in the information sphere” has expelled the journalist of TV channel “Russia-1” and “Russia 24” Maria Kniazeva, which runs on TV under the pseudonym Savushkina.
Sanctions against journalists
Ukraine has banned most Russian TV channels: channel one, NTV, TV Center, “Russia 1” “Russia 24”, TNT, “Petersburg 5”, “Zvezda”, Ren-TV, “LifeNews”, “Russia Today”, RBK-TV, “RTR planet”, “World 24”. Under the sanctions also hit Russian TV channels “Dom Kino”, “Russia 1”, “Usadba-TV”, “Pets”, “Questions and answers”, “Weapons”, “History”.
There is a ban on the entry of the heads of the Russian mass media: chief editor of “Komsomolskaya Pravda” Vladimir Sungorkin, General Director of VGTRK Oleg Dobrodeev, General Director of the Russian international Agency “Russia today” Dmitry Kiselyov, General Director of the TASS news Agency Sergei Mikhailov, editor-in-chief of RT TV channel Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of the journal “Expert” Valery Fadeev, chief editor of the magazine “Russian reporter” Vitaly Leibin and others.
