DPRK authorities withdrew their ambassadors to Pyongyang for consultations

Moscow. 14 Aug. INTERFAX.RU — DPRK Authorities withdrew their ambassadors from major countries to Pyongyang for consultations, said on Monday the news Agency “Yonhap”, noting that it comes amid growing pressure of world public opinion on North Korea.

Source Agency reported that the meeting of the diplomatic staff due to, inter alia, Ambassador to China, Lee Jae Ryong, Ambassador to Russia Kim Hyung Jun and the permanent representative of the DPRK at the UN Cha Sleep Us.

How many diplomats will take part in the consultations is unknown.

It is noted that North Korea holds a meeting of ambassadors regularly; the latest one was held in July 2015.

Earlier, the DPRK warned that can launch several missiles so that they fell into the sea just a few dozen kilometers from GUAM, where the military base of the United States. In response, Donald trump reiterated Washington’s readiness to resolve the issue by military means.
