The findings of the Polish side about explosion on Tu-154 aircraft of Polish President Lech Kaczynski shortly before the crash based on nothing. This statement was made by the official representative of the Investigative Committee of Russia Svetlana Petrenko. Her words RIA Novosti.
“It is absolutely unclear on what basis these another conclusion of the Polish experts. When conducting immediately after the disaster, ballistic and explosion and technical expertise are no signs of impact on the plane of explosives it was revealed not”, — said Petrenko.
Petrenko added that Polish investigators in 2011 concluded that the cause of the collapse of the liner was the reduction of the aircraft below the safe altitude and the collision with the birch. Since 2014 Warsaw did not produce additional examinations of the remains of the aircraft, are stored in Russia.
August 9, 2017, a new Polish Commission stated that the type of destruction of the wing bears the traces of an explosion. Earlier, representatives of the technical Commission of the International aviation Committee has repeatedly denied the version of the explosion. On 7 August, the Polish foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski said Warsaw would not cooperate with Moscow on the case of wreck of the liner.
April 10 April 2010 near Smolensk the plane crashed Tu-154, on Board of which was the President of Poland Lech Kaczynski, his wife Maria and many other senior executives of the country. All on Board flew a total of 96 people, all of them died. The passengers were headed to ceremonies in Katyn.
