Authorities in Irkutsk region on behalf of the President calculated the cost of the road construction on the only inhabited island of lake Baikal and Olkhon island. According to preliminary estimates, taking into account delivery of materials from land, the project would cost 2 billion rubles. In General, the cost of the work included the reconstruction of berthing facilities as an integral part of the road to start the implementation of which is proposed in 2018. In parallel, the authorities are ready to begin the development of design-estimate documentation for the repair and reconstruction of the road itself.
