The UK authorities acknowledged that “every big city of the United Kingdom” slavery and human trafficking, reports The Independent.
The UK national Agency for combating crime issued a report in which he said that “at the present time, slavery spread is much stronger than previously anticipated.”
“Every year more and more children and adults become targets of unprecedented forms of exploitation and abuse,” said the organization in identifying victims of trafficking.
It is noted that currently police officers across the country conduct hundreds of raids to identify such cases. Often, trafficked people are 12-year-olds trafficked to the United Kingdom from continental Europe.
So, from may to June of this year in the United Kingdom was made 111 arrests on suspicion of human trafficking, 130 people were again free. People held in sex and labor slavery.
