CBR has warned banks about a possible attack virus-coders
Moscow. August 10. INTERFAX.RU Centre monitoring and response to computer attacks in the financial sphere of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation (Finart) on Wednesday warned Russian banks about the possibility of preparing them viruses-coders, the newspaper “Vedomosti”.
Corresponding letter the center sent to the banks. Fincert received information of a possible attack from various sources, the newspaper notes.
Then, the regulator has identified isolated cases of financial market participants malicious virus-coders.
The attack, according to Fincert started with email sending emails with an attached virus. In the text messages, the attackers convinced the user to open a malicious file then the virus program is activated.
