Disney Channel showed fragments of a new episode of children’s series Doc McStuffins, the protagonists of which were the parents of lesbians of different races.

A black character was voiced by comedienne Wanda Sykes, also a lesbian. Impressions of the cartoon she shared in the video, which the broadcaster posted on YouTube.

The plot of the series, same-sex parents with two young children seeking shelter from an earthquake, triggered by a toy dinosaur, turn to the main character named Dottie to help them to collect a suitcase alarming. She says that you must have in this set, to protect against earthquakes.

As noted by The Daily Dot, in the episode there is no emphasis on sexuality of the family. In the series just shows how two loving parents help their children.

Mashable draws attention to the fact that Disney is not the first time shows LGBT couples in their cartoons.

The channel showed a same-sex kiss in the animated series “the Old against the forces of evil.” Same-sex relationships was shown in the youth series “good Luck Charlie”, but this time LGBT couple for the first time will show in the Disney Junior block intended for preschoolers.
