The fire occurred at a gas station in the Altai region while pumping gas. The fire spread located next to the summer gazebo, four people were injured. On Sunday, August 6, the press service of the regional Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR).
The fire started in the morning at one of the gas stations near the city of Novoaltaisk. “Previously it is established that the gas leak occurred during the transfer of liquefied gas in underground backup cistern”, — stated in the message.
According to the regional Department of the TFR, four people were taken to a medical facility. Their status is not reported. At the scene, investigators are working, the issue of initiation of proceedings.
On the website of the regional emergencies Ministry reported that the fire started around seven in the morning local time and half an hour was extinguished. Its area was 190 square meters. Brigade “altaikraigazservis” continue the pumping residual gas out of the tank. Just in extinguishing the fire were involved 12 vehicles and 31 persons.
In July 2016 in Tajikistan as a result of explosion at petrol filling stations with liquefied gas killed one person, injured several.
