In Turkey, the terrorists and suspects of involvement in the coup that took place in July 2016, will be required to wear during trial special clothing. This was stated by President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Reuters reports.
In July at one of the meetings in the case of the coup, the defendant came in a t-shirt with the inscription “Hero”. After that, in Turkish cities the protests took place, where participants dressed as well.
Last month, Erdogan said that the suspects of involvement in the coup will be obliged to wear on the court jumpsuits like prisoners, Guantanamo.
Saturday, August 5, the President of Turkey said that they would wear jumpsuits the color of almonds. The terrorists will be wearing jackets and pants.
“They will no longer appear in court dressed as they want,” said Erdogan.
A failed coup took place in Turkey on 15 July 2016. After that 50 thousand people were arrested, tens of thousands fired.
