Reuters: the EU on Friday will decide on the extension of sanctions against Russia because of Siemens
The new sanctions, as noted, may relate to representatives of the Ministry of energy and companies allegedly involved in the transportation of turbines to the Crimea.
TASS, 4 August. The EU on Friday will decide on the extension of the sanctions list against Russia in connection with the scandal around the supply of turbines by Siemens in the Crimea. About it reported Reuters, citing diplomatic sources.
On 26 July, EU ambassadors agreed in principle on the introduction of additional sanctions against four individuals and three legal entities from Russia, however, the entry of this decision requires unanimous approval of the EU Council.
