INTERFAX.RU — Ministry of foreign Affairs (MFA) of the Russian Federation was invited to Russia of Ukrainian pilot Alexander Akopov, who became famous after a successful landing of Turkish plane in the absence of sight and subjected to a homeland attack for avatar social network, on which there is a photo of the head of Russian foreign Ministry Sergei Lavrov.

On 27 July, the Turkish airlines plane, the commander of the crew which was Akopov, flew from Istanbul to Cyprus, but came under a hailstorm the size of an egg, causing the windshield, the sensors and the nose of the aircraft was badly damaged. Akopov took the decision to return to departure airport and landed the plane almost blindly. At that moment on Board the plane was carrying 121 passengers and six crew members.
