Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the head of Kalmykia Alexei Orlov to deal with the coercion of parents and students to purchase their desks in the schools of the region, RIA Novosti reported.
“Parents are asked to purchase a school Desk for a child, collect money for food. Listen, when forced to buy textbooks is a violation of the law, but to buy the Desk — it is generally something new, I have honestly never even seen and not heard”, — said the President. The eagles promised to address the issue.
It is noted that on this requirement, the President said during a straight line.
20 July, Putin gave the acting head of Mari El Alexander Evstifeeva package of complaints from residents of the Republic received in the name of the head of state. In particular, they complained about “voluntary-compulsory” purchase of school textbooks and public transport, also citizens concerned about issues of resettlement of dilapidated housing and land allocation.
Earlier in the same month, the head of state demanded from the Governor of Orel region Vadim Patomskogo to study complaints of citizens received in a straight line. So, the locals drew attention to the lack of drugs for beneficiaries, the increase in housing prices and the condition of the roads.
