Kiriyenko: 80% of the best applications for presidential grants came from the regions
MOSCOW, 31 Jul — RIA Novosti. More than 80% of applications who received the highest scores on the ground this year the competition of presidential grants, were filed with regional organizations, said the first Deputy head of presidential administration, head of the coordination Committee for conducting tenders for granting of presidential grants Sergei Kiriyenko.
“It is very important that we are among those who scored the highest points, the vast majority are representatives of the regions, not from Moscow and not a nationwide organization, 81.5% of visitors were representatives of regions,” — said Kiriyenko on Monday at a meeting of the coordinating Committee.
This year for the competition of presidential grants were created by a single operator, the presidential grants for the development of civil society.
In 2017, conducted two contests with an extended application period: within the first competition took them from 17 April to 31 may, the application for the second contest can be submitted between August 16 and September 29.
Applications are accepted in electronic form.
Held a meeting of the joint expert Council, which considered the recommendations of the independent examination of the applications. The results of the contest down on Monday at a meeting of the coordinating Committee is expected later in the day will be published a complete list of the winning projects of the first in this year’s competition.
Before the meeting of the joint expert Council applications were evaluated 460 independent experts, they reviewed more than 5.8 thousand calls from 84 Russian regions. Overall at first competition received more than 6.6 thousand applications, some of them were not admitted to examination from-for discrepancies to requirements of the competition, and some applications withdrew the applicants themselves.
