Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a Friday meeting with government members and permanent members of the security Council.
As reported a press-service of the Kremlin, the main topic of the meeting with the Cabinet of Ministers “will be the implementation of the export potential of agriculture.” Will be considered and a number of other current issues.
The press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov has specified that in the graph Putin on Friday also means “operational meeting with permanent members of the security Council.”
The President has repeatedly stressed the progress which in recent years has made the domestic agriculture. Thus, the growth of the industry by the end of 2016 amounted to more than 4 percent.
Engine of growth, agriculture remains the grain. As previously noted by the head of the Ministry Alexander Tkachev, grain exports brings 70% of revenue in total agricultural exports. According to him, the Ministry of agriculture believe that “given the fall in oil prices in the first place is grain, grain is our oil”.
