Thailand expects “productive cooperation with Russia” and “attaches great importance” to the forthcoming visit to the Kingdom, Minister for foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov. On Friday in conversation with the correspondent of TASS said the head of the information Department of the Thai Ministry of foreign Affairs of Busati Santipitaks.
“It is planned to discuss a very wide range of issues on bilateral cooperation,” – said the official representative of the foreign Ministry of Thailand. “We attach great importance to cooperation with Russia and the upcoming visit of the Minister [Sergey] Lavrov, especially in the backdrop of the celebration this year of the 120th anniversary of diplomatic relations between our countries,” said Basadi of Santipitaks.
Lavrov will visit Bangkok on August 9-10. The visit program includes a meeting with Prime Minister of Thailand Prutom Chan-Eyes and foreign Minister Don Pramudwinai.
