The Ombudsman will review contact zoos after the attack of the leopard on the child in Saratov
Checks will be carried out in compliance with sanitary and epidemiological requirements, as well as the implementation of preventive measures in animal welfare.
SARATOV, July 27. /TASS/. Commissioner for the rights of the child in the Saratov region plans to conduct a series of tests to contact zoos after one of them, the leopard attacked the girl. On Thursday TASS in the press service of Ombudsman for children Tatiana Zagorodna.
“The case of the leopard not only in the city, earlier we received a letter containing information about that in the other petting zoo child was bitten by a chinchilla. In the near future, the Commissioner plans to conduct a series of tests to contact zoos,” — said the press service.
Checks will be carried out in compliance with legislative norms in the sphere of sanitary-epidemiological well-being, sanitary maintenance of premises, implementation of preventive measures in animal welfare.
On 26 July, during a visit to the family’s zoo in one of the shopping malls of Saratov leopard attacked a 6-year-old girl. The child was taken to the hospital, according to emergency services, its status is estimated as satisfactory. An inspection on this fact is carried out by the SU RF IC in the region.
