Macron has called the possible timing of elections in Libya

Presidential and parliamentary elections in Libya can pass in the spring of 2018. This was stated on Tuesday, July 25, the President of France Emmanuel macron, reports the Associated Press.

With the mediation of French President and UN special envoy on Libya Hassan Salama in Paris was held the meeting of the head of the national consensus government Faiza Saraga and commander of the national army of field Marshal Khalifa the Haftarot.

The warring parties agreed to a truce. “In accordance with mezhliviysky political agreement and international treaties to protect the territory and sovereignty of Libya, we pledge to cease fire and to refrain from any use of the armed forces except in cases of combating terrorism,” — said in a communiqué issued following the meeting.
