The Swiss police refused to consider an attack with a chainsaw attack

Police in the Swiss city of Schaffhausen, said that the attack of a man with a chainsaw is not a terrorist act, reports Reuters, citing Swiss law enforcement agencies.

As reported, police have identified the assailant and claims that the incident was not an “act of terror”.

The incident occurred in the morning in an office building in the city centre. The attack wounded five people. The suspect in the attack — bald, sloppily dressed man — fled in a VW Caddy with the numbers of the Canton of Graubunden.

It is reported that the center of Schaffhausen is blocked, to the city arriving police units from neighboring cantons of Thurgau, Winterthur and Zurich.
