Mayor of Yekaterinburg Yevgeny Roizman was not able to collect the required number of signatures to pass the municipal filter in the elections of the Governor of Sverdlovsk region. On Tuesday, July 18, reports “Interfax”.
“The signature is not physically collect. I have in stock three to four signatures, but no more,” — said Roizman.
He also stated that he would discuss with the party “Yabloko” nominated him as a candidate on elections of the head of the region, whether to apply to the constitutional court to challenge the municipal filter.

July 12, Roizman said the National news service (NSN), he did not intend to apply at the regional level. “If I get nominated by someone else, I again have to collect signatures to pass the municipal filter, but it’s too late,” he said.
