The senators released Ozerov from the position of head of the defense Committee
Moscow. July 12. INTERFAX.RU — the Federation Council Viktor Ozerov released from the post of Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on defense and security in connection with his application filed last week.
The senators have considered this question at plenary session of chamber on Wednesday.
On the eve of the defence Committee decided that the acting Director will be Yevgeny Serebrennikov, first Deputy Chairman.
Earlier an informed source told “Interfax” that the silver coins only temporarily will head the Committee, and after the election in September this post can take Viktor Bondarev, who is the commander of aerospace forces of the Russian Federation.
According to the source, after the September elections Bondarev can be delegated to Council of Federation from the Governor of the Kirov region, and then, probably, and will be headed by the defence Committee.
