July 12, Russia celebrates 74th anniversary of the one of the largest in military history tank battles that occurred near the station of Prokhorovka in the Belgorod region.

Until today, armored units remain one of the main strike forces of modern armies. Tanks still meet the requirements of the battlefield, but not far off, when instead they will fight robotic combat vehicles and drones capable under operator control, and even Autonomous, to solve the tasks of armored vehicles and armed conflict.

As it is now

Currently, the Russian army consists of many different versions of tanks T-72, T-80 and T-90 that are constantly being improved.
