In June, the Secretary of the national security Council and defense Oleksandr Turchynov said that the Russians entering Ukraine will have to present a biometric passport.
Crimea became part of Russia in March 2014 following a referendum. Kiev refused to recognize the results of the plebiscite and considers the region as an occupied territory. In Moscow insist that the accession of the region conform to the norms of international law.
