Ukraine has arrested the Russian border guards
The court of appeal of the Kherson region decided to detain two Russian border guards detained 30 June. On Tuesday, July 11, reported on the website of the security Service of Ukraine (SBU).
They are charged with encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of the Republic (part 2 of article 110 of the criminal code of Ukraine). The authorities continued with the investigation against the Russians.
SBU in July, said that the detained FSB Askar Kulov and Vladimir Kuznetsov. The Russian Ministry confirmed the information and expressed hope for a speedy resolution of the situation.
In June the head of the state border service of Ukraine Viktor Nazarenko said that two unknown persons without documents moored to the shore of the Gulf of Perekop in the Kherson region. During the interrogation it became clear that they — Crimean border guards who played the role of infiltrators during the exercise, but have strayed from the path and accidentally crossed into neighbouring countries.
