Fallon has listed Russia among the threats a comma-terrorism and the DPRK

The British defence Secretary Michael Fallon during his visit to the USA has listed Russia among the threats facing the world community, through a comma with Islamic terrorism and nuclear tests of North Korea.

“Today, our nation is faced with a wave of diverse a variety of simultaneous global threats. From Islamic extremism, the Russian state aggression, of terrorism sponsors and nuclear tests of North Korea to the treacherous spread of misinformation and hacker attacks,” said Fallon during a meeting with U.S. Secretary of defense James Mattis, it quoted the press service of the British government. According to Fallon, these things require an international response, including from NATO countries.

UK, said Fallon, consistently performs goal to increase contributions to the Alliance’s budget to 2% of GDP of the country and urged to do this and other countries-members of NATO.

“Over the past year, NATO Nations contributed about 43 billion pounds more on collective defence, while on the Eastern European border is a large number of operations for monitoring and deterrence”, — reads the statement of the government.

According to Fallon, the UK plays a crucial role in the international antiterrorist coalition and will continue to do so in the future
