The improvement of streets in Moscow will never end. This was at VII Moscow urban forum, said Deputy mayor for housing, utilities and amenities Pyotr Biryukov. His words lead Agency city news “Moscow”.
“People often ask me — when will the program “My street”? Answer: never. A good host always puts things in order, with his children, Junior, senior. We are masters of our Moscow. This is our work for the benefit of Moscow will be endless,” warned the official.
Earlier during the forum, the mayor presented a showroom with samples of housing for immigrants from the five-story building under the program of renovation. Life-size and with full interior decoration are four types of apartments with balconies. They are housed in two-storey layout of a residential building with porch and patio.
VII Moscow urban forum is held in Moscow at VDNH from 6 to 12 July. Experts from around the world will discuss issues of urban planning, architecture, Economics and urban infrastructure.
Improvement programme “My street” is implemented in Moscow in 2015. It was assumed that it will last until 2018. Under it fall more than four thousand streets and outbound motorways. The main goal — the creation of a favourable city environment for pedestrians, cyclists and people with disabilities.
