Princess of Japan postponed engagement due to natural disasters

Japanese Princess Mako, the eldest granddaughter of Emperor Akihito, has postponed his engagement with a former classmate in connection with natural disaster in the country. This was announced by the management of the Affairs of the Imperial court of Japan.

The gala event was scheduled for 8 July.

Currently in the South-West of Japan are powerful storms, which led to casualties. More than a thousand people still can’t leave their towns due to natural disasters. Rescuers continue to work on elimination of consequences of destructive natural phenomena and tidy washed away by the downpour of the road.
