North Korea announced the test of an Intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) that is capable of carrying a large nuclear warhead. About it reports Reuters.

Meanwhile in Washington called for global action in connection with the launch of North Korean ICBMs. In a statement, U.S. Secretary Rex Tillerson says that all countries need to publicly demonstrate to the DPRK that the development of nuclear weapons will lead to consequences.

It also became known that the UN Security Council at the request of the United States, South Korea and Japan will hold a public meeting to discuss the missile tests by Pyongyang. As reported TASS with reference to the permanent mission of the United States at the UN session will take place on 5 July at 15:00 (22:00 GMT).
