The official representative the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova announced the launch of “antitakeover” project on the Agency’s website. Such a statement she made on Wednesday, February 22, during a briefing, reports RNS.
According to her, on the website of the Ministry will publish examples of “fake” news. They can be found under the heading “Examples of publications, replicated false information about Russia.”
“Today we are launching this column…the First collection already published,” — said Zakharov.
However, at the time of this writing, this section of the website was lacking.
Zakharova added that “unfortunately, we state that this section will be regularly updated”.
Earlier it was reported that on the Agency’s website may appear, which will be published false reports by foreign media, embassies and statements of officials of foreign States. According to Zakharova, the foreign Ministry is going to “fake” news to “expose, give the original sources, the data show that the Russian response to this question was already present”.
