In Russian schools before the exam can be mass-installed means of suppression of cellular communication. According to the newspaper “Vedomosti”, the final decision on this matter will be taken after the meeting of the State Commission for radio frequencies (GCCR) in March.
Jammers of mobile communication is planned to be installed only in areas of examinations. It is reported that previously have not been cases of mass use of such equipment.
The initiative of installation of jammers in schools belongs to the Service. In Roskomnadzor offer a principled objection is not met, however, the Department insisted on receiving approval of the SCR, to ensure the legitimacy of such measures.
