MOSCOW, February 10. /TASS/. Information about the possible appointment of the Director General of the Agency for strategic initiatives (ASI) Andrei Nikitin for the post of Governor of the Novgorod region is hearsay, told TASS Director of communications ASI Igor Karachyn.
“It is obvious rumors. Monday, February 13, the Director General of ASI Andrei Nikitin scheduled internal meetings with the Agency staff, one of them related to the participation in the Russian investment forum in Sochi on 27-28 February,” said Karachyn.
Earlier some media Novgorod region appeared information about the fact that on February 13 the Governor of the region Sergey Mitin may leave his post and his position will take the current head of the ASI a Nikitin. Mitin himself after retirement will be transferred to the Ministry of agriculture.
