Moscow. 17 Dec. INTERFAX.RU — Manned spacecraft in 2017 will travel to the International space station (ISS), four — spring and fall, reported “Interfax” a source at the cosmodrome.

In addition, in 2017 in spite of the accident of cargo ship “Progress MC-04” changes in the launch schedule space truck in 2017 yet.

“Cargo spacecraft “Progress” in accordance with the schedule will be sent to the ISS on 2 February, 14 June and 12 October,” – said the source.

On 1 December failed to put into orbit launched from Baikonur space truck “Progress MS-04”, which was supposed to deliver to ISS more than two tons of cargo. The result of contingencies there was a loss of “Progress” at an altitude of about 190 miles above the desolate remote mountainous terrain in Tuva.

According to a source at the cosmodrome, the accident was triggered by the damage of the propulsion system in case of abnormal separation of the third stage.

“After separation of the spacecraft from the third stage of the rocket its engine for an unknown reason, was not disconnected and continued to work. In the result the third stage hit the ship and critically damaged its propulsion system,” — said the Agency interlocutor.

“Interfax” does not yet have official confirmation of this version from the Russian space Agency. Meanwhile, the Commission continues its work and examines different versions of what happened. The results will be published before 20 Dec.
