MOSCOW, December 16. /TASS/. Speaker of the state Duma Vyacheslav Volodin has offered to host regular live broadcasts of “governmental hours” on TV.
“Colleagues, let’s agree, work through it (similar to how we discussed the third reading of the draft budget) the possibility of direct broadcast of “governmental hours” next year in the state Duma”, – said Volodin. He suggested that, given that in the state Duma will be held on two “government hour” in a month, “the opportunity is probably quite real.”
According to the speaker plans to live broadcast the speeches of the Ministers and representatives of the factions. “This will be dealt with in the next hour live,” – said Volodin.
Thus the head of the lower house reacted to the remark of the leader of LDPR Vladimir Zhirinovsky, who called for a more extensive coverage in the press “the governmental hours” in the state Duma. “That Wednesday was “the governmental hour” – the country does not know what he was talking about… All the small things collected around the world, and the state Duma sit – zero information… And the First channel, and everyone else who enters this censorship?”, – said Zhirinovsky.
