In the waters of lake Baikal on the territory of the Olkhonsky district of Irkutsk region was recorded an earthquake of magnitude 3.7, reports “Interfax” with reference to the press service of EMERCOM in the region.
“In 19.33 (irc) was seismoisolation in the Olkhonsky district, coordinates 53.10 107.68 North latitude East longitude, magnitude 3.7, energy class 11,0, intensity at the epicenter by the formula 5,3”, — stated in the message.
In turn, the MOE stated that the territory of Irkutsk region earthquake was not felt.
Earlier it was reported that in February of 2017, the water level in the lake drops to an extreme minimum.
