Director Alexey Uchitel after the arson of “lendok” film Studio in St. Petersburg, appealed to the heads of the interior Ministry and the FSB with a request to provide security to the cinemas and spectators of his film “Matilda”, said the Director’s lawyer Konstantin Dobrynin.
“Tonight I lit the Studio “lendok” and tomorrow is going to burn the theaters that can hurt ordinary people. I ask the Minister of internal Affairs Vladimir Alexandrovich Kolokoltsev and FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov to ensure not only our safety, but first and foremost the safety of movie theaters and audiences that are waiting for this film”, — reads the statement of the Director, a copy of which is available to TASS.
